MY THOUGHTS ON PREMARITAL SEX:

“…the Christian belief of Sexuality is based on an ancient and self-interpreted belief that a man and woman were not to engage in any sexually promiscuous relations; that it is a sin and dishonorable to God and earthly father.  We must first examine the time by which the Bible was written and whom it was written by.  According to the times, (lol…a few thousand years ago) -women where scarcely allowed to wear any sort of revealing clothing; no comparison to the fashion industry’s influence on our trends and clothing styles today.  Thus, understand that the purpose of a marital union was based primarily on business transactions…”I’ll trade you two donkeys for my virgin daughter”…therefore, the strict protection and imminent discouragement of loose sexual relations were prime for the procurement of their “property” aka, their virgin, untouched- “trade objects”.  Also note that all (debatable) Chapters in the bible were written by men, and as human as they were, like all of us, they were guilty by their own environment. The way by which they were raised, taught, and told- as we are today, I might add.  It can only be concluded that the men who wrote about the basic concept of “premarital sex” and the importance of purity, were products of their own generational and personal ideas of and about sex.  So, if God made us, and introduced us and intertwined us with nature and reasoning above all; isn’t it upon our own natural and innate drive to exude sexual desires and acts that are deemed, Biblically “Sinful”.  A man wrote the Bible and a man told us to remain free of premarital sexual desires, but I say…who is a man to tell me? If you have love, passion, desire, and a genuine urge shared with your partner to live out sexually…umm, sorry- what more could you want to do and why wouldn’t God want that for you; your happiness and a person whom he selected for you to share your happiness with- Duh right?  I am a living breathing piece of Nature created by God, not Man, and I intend to do as nature does and not what a man implemented a few thousand years ago…”
