“Odd things happened in the summer of 1816. Severe climate abnormalities cause global temperatures to decrease rusulting in freezing temperatures throughout the U.S., China, UK, and Western Europe. Crops would not grow, livestock perished, a major food shortage caused riots, arson, looting, suicide, disease, and over 500,000 deaths. The constant gloomy weather caused people to act erratically and increased mortality. This year became known as the, “year without summer.”
